• Sourcing and Selecting Suppliers
• Handling Purchase Orders:
• Negotiate costs, payment terms, and delivery schedules to secure the best value while meeting project timelines.
• Work closely with project managers, designers, and site teams to understand material and furnishing requirements.
• Coordinate with the team on delivery schedules and keep them informed of any procurement updates or issues.
• Maintain accurate records of materials and manage inventory levels to avoid shortages or excess.
• Coordinate logistics to ensure efficient and cost-effective delivery to construction or project sites.
• Proactively address any issues that may arise during the procurement process, such as delivery delays, material discrepancies, or vendor disputes.

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Construction Management, Civil, or a related field.
• At least 2-5 years of experience in purchasing or procurement, specifically in construction fields.
• Deep knowledge of construction materials, interior finishes, furnishings, and construction projects.
• Vendor and Supplier Management Skills: Proven experience in vendor selection, evaluation, and relationship management.
• Ability to negotiate prices, delivery timelines, and terms with suppliers to secure favorable deals.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Excel, and experience with purchasing software or ERP systems is advantageous.
